Annual Meeting – June 27th – 29th – Online/New York City
TSDCA is watching developments with regards to Covid-19. We are committed to having the 2020 Annual meeting, whether completely online, or a combination of online and in-person in New York City. We are pursuing panels with the assumption that the conference will need to be online.
And….we need your help! The TSDCA Board and Committees are excited about many topics for the annual meeting in June…but need to understand what the Membership would most enjoy. Please vote on sessions even if you can’t attend in person, as sessions are streamed and recordings will be available to you after the event.
The following panels are definitely on the docket:
- Monitoring – Everything from the use of on stage monitoring, vocal monitoring, personal monitoring for musicians, to IEMs.
- Virtual Instruments Masterclass – Demonstration of tips and techniques by composer Nathan Halpern and a representative from Spitfire Audio
- Procedural Audio – How to create custom sound effects using live input, with endless variations.

Staffing of Musicals – Nevin Steinberg leads a panel on how to build your team for a Broadway musical.
- Synthesis – How to create your own unique sounds through filters, oscillators and envelopes
