Computo is a music producer, composer and educator from Los Angeles, California. Recently, his work with performing artist LP Giobbi “Jungle Queen featuring TT The Artist” was chosen for EA Games FIFA 2021, and yielded club hits like “Amber Rose” (named one of the “20 Massive Tracks of Coachella 2019” by DJ Mag) as well as the Animal Talk record label debut “Manifesto” with label co-founders, Sofi Tukker. Computo is the creator of Voltage Control Lab, an online educational resource and Youtube channel for modular synthesis, as well as a sound design curriculum creator and instructor at Musicians Institute and Icon Collective. He has trained some of the top artists in the music industry on hardware and software synthesis including Flying Lotus, Zedd and LMFAO.
Lacey Harris
Director of Industry Programs and Faculty
Lacey, an alumnus of MI’s Music Business Master Program, is our Director of Industry Programs and Faculty. She has over 20 years working as a DJ and as a producer of electronic music. Before becoming an educator, she spent many years working in various roles in music technology, most notably as a technical specialist and beta tester for Native Instruments’ flagship DJ product line, Traktor. When joining the ranks at MI, Lacey used this knowledge and experience to create several courses in the DJ Performance & Production program and for MI Online.
