Join Sound Designer Martín Carrillo (Broad Museum Summer Happenings, Baby It’s You, Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings) for a fun night of theater and subsequent hands on system show tour with LACHSA’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods. Seminar attendees will have an opportunity to watch the show the weekend of May 22-23 and then join a scheduled hands-on Lab with member Designer Martin Carrillo on May 26 to explore the inner workings of the 5 DCP D-Mitri System in the space. Special attention will be paid to cue authoring and tracking systems inside Cuestation software as well as an exploration of the deployed functionality of VRAS reverberation engines, Playback controls, Spacemap and wireless mapping workflows. Bring a laptop running MacOS or Windows to join in exploring the system and getting to know the software interfaces.
