Annual Meeting – June 22nd – 24th – Chicago
TSDCA is interested in reimbursing members for approved travel and housing expenses associated with attending the annual meeting in Chicago. Receipts would be due within thirty (30) days of the annual meeting. Please let us know if you are coming and would take advantage of this travel fund! Assessing the number of people interested will help us understand how much we can offer attendees.
We are also reaching out to our corporate members for contributions and if you would like to contribute to the travel fund for your fellow members it would be appreciated. Email info@tsdca.org for details.
Secondly – we need your help! The TSDCA Board and Committees are excited about many topics for the annual meeting in June…but need to understand what the Membership would most enjoy. Please vote on sessions even if you can’t attend in person, as sessions are streamed and recordings will be available to you after the event.
The following panels are definitely on the docket:
- Showcase Chicago – Hear from local theatre artists about how Chicago theatre is done – from Storefront to Regional
- Assistants and Associates: Defining and Discussing Roles and Common Practice
- Intersectionality in Sound Design: Guest expert presentation on the challenges some face when confronted with overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination and disadvantage
