A Brief History of Intermodulation

January 22, 2018 6:00pm
Public Theater

Taught by Shannon Slaton

Co-hosted with the Public Theater, Supported by Howard Kaufman and Lectrosonics. We will be recording this one for distribution at some point, but you should come in person if you can, because it’s a great opportunity to sit in a room with the sound community!

This talk will cover the fundamentals of radio frequency intermodulation. From what it is to what the math is to what it looks like to what it sounds like. It will also cover how to mitigate intermodulation issues in your wireless systems and how to deal with asymmetrical intermodulation when using digital wireless systems. It will also look at the strengths and weaknesses of the current software available.
